ROLE
We are an internet-based wedding services network committed to marketing wedding services for the benefit of suppliers and consumers in the wedding industry of the northern beaches and north shore areas. We operate at very low cost to members and are funded through member’s joining fees, annual membership fees and expo advertising levies. We maintain a free-access website that contains a one page mini-website per member and that publicises details of upcoming expos.

We operate two websites, the Northern Beaches Wedding Expo (established in 1999) and the Northern Sydney Wedding Expo (established in 2006).

To participate in our expos, you must first become a member of our website-based network. To become a member, you must either reside or conduct your business within the wider northern parts of Sydney (broadly speaking, the suburbs bounded by a wide line from Hornsby to Sydney). Some outside-of-area or online businesses may be offered membership in certain service categories where these are not available in our area. Generally only NBWE and NSWE members may exhibit at our expos.

Each service provider who exhibits at our expos and who is listed on this site is an independently run business, responsible entirely for the services that they offer our customers. They are well-known locally, and share a common goal of all members of providing a high-quality service with integrity, friendliness, and with excellent value for money.

Both websites are owned and coordinated by Richard Alaba, who is also a long-established wedding photographer on the northern beaches. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Membership of either websites will make your business part of one of the fastest growing and best recognized local wedding networks in NSW. In addition to 365 day advertising through your page on our websites, you benefit from extensive regular advertising in several local and regional outlets, major annual wedding publications and relevant websites, plus feature advertising during expo campaigns. We receive approximately 25,000 to 30,000 page visits each month, and many of our members stay with the network year after year just to have access to this volume of wedding-related traffic.


Another benefit of being a member is the opportunity to network with other wedding service suppliers in your region. Meeting other suppliers at our expos leads to valuable links being formed that provides opportunity to share information and ideas relevant to the wedding industry.
